Yuma, Ariz. – The City of Yuma reminds residents that the voter registration deadline for the Nov. 5 election in Arizona is Oct. 7.
Yuma voters will elect one seat on the Yuma City Council and one Municipal Court Judge during this election, as well as consider Proposition 425, Mayor and Council Compensation.
Voters may check their registration status online through my.arizona.vote or register through servicearizona.com, which are available 24 hours a day. Online registrations through Service Arizona will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7.
Those who prefer to register in person should visit the office of the Yuma County Recorder, 102 S. Main St., between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The County Recorder will stop taking in-person registrations at 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7.
Voting early by mail begins Wednesday, Oct. 9. Voters may request a mail-in ballot through the Yuma County Recorder.
