
Calexico, CA._ A suspect is in custody now after he broke in to a private property, announced Calexico Police Department.
According to a press release, Calexico Police Officers responded to a residence regarding a prowler on the property. The suspect was caught on surveillance footage and quickly located by officers.
Calexico Police posted the information on their social media with a hashtag #UpToNoGood.
The individual was identified as 33-year-old Edwin Pantoja of Calexico, a convicted felon currently on active probation.
Pantoja was taken into custody and booked into the Imperial County Jail, or as it was hashtaged #ToTheBirdHouse.
A recomendation was made by the Police, reminder residents to do the #9PMRoutine—remove valuables from your vehicles, lock your doors, turn on exterior lights, and activate security systems to keep your home and neighborhood safe.
